This dish is a famous in western part of India this receipe is know as Patra (પાતરા) in Gujarati language, Aalu Vadi (अळूवडी ) In Marathi language. There are slight diffreance of cooking method between Patra (પાતરા) A tempering of mustard seeds, jeera, other spices in oil are added to the boiled colo cassia leaves rolled with masala batter and Aalu Vadi (अळूवडी) colo cassia leaves masala roll is first boiled then deep fried in oil, Ingredients of masala batter is same for 'Patra (પાતરા)' and 'Aalu Vadi (अळूवडी)'
